Gilbert de Motier, Marquis de Lafayette (1757-1834). Revolutionary War general, French statesman and officer. ALS. 1p, 8.25 x 6.5 in., on laid paper, in French. La Grange, November 13, 1806. A personal note addressed to a Monsieur Milanges. Condition: Hole in center crease from seal. Later pencil inscription describing contents.
