Lot (6) Early 1800's Elbridge Gerry & Gerry Family Letters & Indenture - Elbridge was signer of the Declaration of Independence, Governor of Massachusetts & Vice-President of the United States. rare Land Grant written and signed by Elbridge Gerry, with his rarer full signature written within the document 3 times as well as his and his wife Anne and their two children signed as witnesses. Gerry's wife Anne was regarded as the second Second Lady of the United States following Abigail Adams because Thomas Jefferson, Aaron Burr, and George Clinton were widowers during their tenures as Vice-President. The four leters have facinating insignt and content form the family. Two letters are from their daughter Cathy Gerry, 1 letter was from thier son Thomas to Ships Captain White,and onewas from his son same name sake, Elbridge Gerry.
