Retail pioneer (1852-1919) who founded the iconic chain of five-and-ten-cent stores that bear his name. DS, signed “F. W. Woolworth,” three pages, 8 x 12.75, January 15, 1912. Indenture made between Racicot Bros. and F. W. Woolworth & Co., by which Woolworth leases "all of the ground floor of Columbia Block on the south side of Main Street in Webster, Massachusetts, for a store" at the cost of $900 per year. Signed at the conclusion in ink by Frank W. Woolworth as president of F. W. Woolworth & Co. In fine condition.
