TLS on The MacFadden Deauville Hotel and Cabana Club, Miami Beach, Florida, stationery, dated February 21, 1952, signed by Kit Benson, Social Hostess at MacFadden Deauville, with a handwritten postscript in blue ballpoint pen by Zaharias stating 'Hey Pardner./ Come up to our room tonight if you want to gander at a lunch of real stars/"Babe" Zaharias' The letter is 9.25" x 6" with the framing 9" x 11.25. The letter has fold lines, with some holes to right edge and upper left corner.
"Babe" Didrikson Zaharias (June 26, 1911 – September 27, 1956) was an American athlete who excelled in golf, basketball, baseball, and track and field. She won two gold medals and a silver in track and field at the 1932 Summer Olympics before turning to professional golf and winning 10 LPGA major championships.
