William Shippen Endorsement Signed ("Doctr. Wm. Shippen"). One partially printed page, 8.125" x 6.5", Philadelphia; April 11, 1786. A pay warrant addressed to Treasurer David Rittenhouse and made out to Dr. William Shippen for "One hundred and eighty-seven Pounds Sixteen Shillings and ten Pence..." Signed by Charles Biddle as vice president. Countersigned by John Nicholson. Endorsed on the verso by Shippen.
