Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Connecticut (1721-1793) who was the only man to also sign the Articles of Association, the Articles of Confederation, and the U.S. Constitution. ADS, one page, 8.25 x 5.25, Pay order May 26, 1787 was issued to Connecticut Treasurer John Lawrence, directing him to pay "Mr. Jonathan Fitch Esq Six pounds on account of what is due on my debentures in your hands." To John Lawrence Esq. Signed below by Roger Sherman Treasures..Archivally mounted, matted, and framed to an overall size of 15 x 12. In fine condition. In 1784, Sherman was elected as mayor of New Haven (an office he held until his death) and he served as a delegate to the Continental Congress from Connecticut. Autograph of Roger Sherman (1721-1793) who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, document to collect a debt signed on date May 26, 1787 from New Haven, CT, overall 13"W x 20"T
