the collection consist of 3 AlS and 1 TLS by Bryan. 1) Typed letter (8 x 10.5) on Department of State letterhead, dated January 8, 1915. Subject is purchase of a book on the Nebraskans and sending a photograph.
2) Autograph letter signed (8.5 x 11) in pencil on letterhead of the Hotel Lafayette in Washington DC, dated “Oct. 25” (1921). Letter was written to journalist A. J. Stofer, who had written to Bryan seeking an interview. Bryan agrees to the interview and mentions that he is about to begin work on his memoirs. (Note - includes autograph addressed mailing envelope.)
3)Bryan, William Jennings- Autograph letter signed (8.5 x 11) in ink on letterhead of Marymont, Ashville, NC, dated “Nov. 30” (1918). Letter was written to reporter A.J. Stofer, whom Bryan describes as “one of the finest newspaper men whom I met”. (Note - includes autograph addressed mailing envelope.)
4)Bryan, William Jennings - Signed, handwritten letter in ink on plain stationery, undated. Letter appears to be written to reporter A. J. Stofer concerning plans of the two men to meet in Washington,
