Signed sheet of paper embossed with U.K. seal (3.75 x 8) with a companion piece - a card (2.5 x 4) bearing the printed inscription: “10, Downing Street, Whitehall, S.W.1 – With the Private Secretary’s Compliments.” Baldwin was a British Conservative politician who dominated the government of the U.K between the two world wars. He is the only Prime Minister of the U.K. to have served under three monarchs (George V, Edward VIII and George VI). George, David Lloyd – signed note card (2 x 4) accompanied by a letter, dated January 16, 1924, from a member of the prime minister’s staff stating “in accordance with your request, I am desired by Mr. Lloyd George to enclose herewith his Autograph which he hopes you will accept with his best wishes.” George was a prominent British politician and statesman who served as Prime Minister from 1916 to 1922.
