Great Political ALS from Ronald Reagan written on 9-3-68 just after his 1st try for nomination for president the in the 60’s. Letter has line through it which was customary after his Secretary transcribed his letters to type. In full: “ Dear Bill I have no words to express my appreciation for your kind letter. You give me more credit then I deserve and make me proud indeed. We think alike with regards to the young people. I can never forget their faces that last late night after the balloting when they waited in the hotel lobby. I will never betray their faith & trust. Surely our party has a bright future if they continue as they are.
