1951 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Widely considered to be the most desirable of all post-war team balls are those featuring the 1951 Bronx Bombers, who earned the third of five consecutive World Championships under the new reign of Hall of Fame manager Casey Stengel. rare ball to have both DiMaggio and Mantle, since this is the only Season that saw Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle share an outfield. Each is present and accounted for on this Official American League ball along with twenty four other Yanks, Berra, Rizzuto, Mize, Collins,Turner,Jensen, Overmire and more. Signature quality is on the light side both DiMaggio's and mantles signatures are around 2/10-3/10 in darkness with the rest of the signatures in the range of 2/10 to 5/10. Although there has been fading to the signatures, it is a rare example of this, one of the greatest teams in baseball history. LOA from James Spence Authentication
