Very Rare Jimmy Carter ALS as president on embossed White House stationary, date 4/22/77. Carter writes: "To Joe Hall, Thanks for your good advice on the Space and energy programs, Jimmy Carter": Great content This letter was written 4 days after Carter delivered a televised speech declaring that the U.S. energy crisis during the 1970s was the moral equivalent of war. He encouraged energy conservation by all U.S. citizens and installed solar water heating panels on the White House. The previous owner did laminate the letter for its protection.
