Signed book with scarce pairing of signatures, in black fountain pen, on the first page of a copy of Stein's 1934 Portraits and Prayers (second printing). Inscribed by Stein, "For Jo Ballantine.". Although book is in fair condition it is quite uncommon to have both signatures in the same book.
