Signed Choate Alumni Bulletin. [Wallingford, CT:] Fall 1963. The printed Choate Alumni Bulletin inscribed in ink "To Tom Jr., With Best Regards, John Kennedy" in the lower margin of the cover which reproduces a painting of Kennedy after William Draper which had been unveiled at the school the previous May. 107/8 x 81/4 inches (28 x 21.5 em). Framed. The cover with a small stain and marginal browning, a few creases including a longer one through the inscription which terminates with a small tape repair below the inscription. Accompanied by a recent Letter of Authenticity from Lion Heart Autographs; Together with a second copy, not inscribed, but very clean, and a letter from Choate identifying the recipient.
Kennedy was unable to attend the unveiling of his portrait at Choate in May 1960, but sent a recorded message to the alumni, which is printed.
