Original brush and black ink drawing attributed to Marc Chagall (1887-1985), signed, inscribed, and dated 1950. Executed on the title page of "Chagall ou L'Orage Enchante," by Raissa Maritain. Published by Editions des Trois Conines, 1948.9 3/4 x 7 1/2 inches. Some wear to jacket (which appears to be an original lithograph by Chagall).
Provenance: Part of a large private book collection assembled over the past 40 years by the present owner's parents, now deceased.
