ROOSEVELT, FRANKLIN D., 32nd President of the U.S. DS dated Oct. 4, 1940 appointing Bernard J. Flynn of Maryland Attorney of the United States in and for the District of Maryland. Also signed by Attorney General Robert H. Jackson, who later served as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court. The document is 15 x 20” and bears a gold Dept. of Justice seal. There is a brown line around the entire piece as a result of framing. Matting would hide it, or it could be trimmed harmlessly.
