Early Signature of Nathaniel Hawthorne dated 1840 on brown cut out paper glued to brown lined paper with typeset at top that reads Nathaniel Hawthorne. Also accompanied with uncommon original Cabinet photograph of Hawthorne. This is after his first work entitled Twice Told Tales in 1837.A noted American Writer of Fiction 1804-1864. Authored The Scarlet Letter, one of the very first best sellers in the United States, as well as The House of the Seven Gables.
