Castro, Fidel. (b. 1926). Signed "Sistema Nacional de Educacion" Diploma. 200.00
DS, signed “Fidel Castro” in black felt tip, one page, 13 x 15.5, 8 September, 1980. A poster-style
diploma certificate issued to Waldo Oliva Brunet in recognition of his participation in the preparation
of teaching materials for the "Sistema Nacional de Educacion." Brunet was co-author of "Historia de
Cuba," published in 1977. In very good condition, with light scattered soiling, a central horizontal
fold and a few small edge creases. A good signed document from the Cuban communist revolutionary
and politician who was Prime Minister of Cuba from 1959 to 1976, and President from 1976 to
2008.
