Jim Davis Typed Letter Signed. A delightful typed letter on Garfield stationery dated July 7, 1992, addressed to a fan named Patricia. In the letter, Garfield creator Jim Davis thanks her for her kind words and notes he is happy to autograph the enclosed item, adding, “I will do my best to keep you entertained.” At the top is a printed image of Garfield lounging in his classic laid-back style. Boldly signed by Davis in red ink. The letter measures 8.75" x 5.5".

Jim Davis (born July 28, 1945) is an American cartoonist, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known as the creator of the comic strips Garfield and U.S. Acres. Published since 1978, Garfield is one of the world's most widely syndicated comic strips. Davis's other comics work includes Tumbleweeds, Gnorm Gnat, and Mr. Potato Head.
