Jan Kubelík

Jan Kubelík signed photographic card, 3.75" x 5.75", featuring an early image of the celebrated Czech violinist holding his instrument. Beautifully inscribed and signed in French, “Souvenir de Jan Kubelik,” and dated “Paris 3 Juin 1905” along the lower margin. Toning and minor edge wear, otherwise in fine condition. 

Jan Kubelík (5 July 1880 – 5 December 1940) was a Czech violinist and composer. Hailed as one of the foremost violin virtuosos of the early 20th century, gained international renown after his 1898 Vienna debut and went on to captivate audiences worldwide with his extraordinary technique and tone.
