Gary Carter and Dale Murphy Signed and Matted 10" x 8" Photograph Display with Rookie Baseball Cards. The display features a color game action photo signed by both in blue and black sharpie, matted alongside 1975 Topps and 1977 Topps rookie baseball cards. The full display is 14" x 18" and is in fine condition.
Gary Carter (April 8, 1954 – February 16, 2012) was an American professional baseball catcher whose 19-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career was spent primarily with the Montreal Expos and New York Mets. Carter was named an All-Star 11 times and was a member of the 1986 World Series Champion Mets. Carter was known throughout his career for his hitting, excellent defense, ability to handle pitchers, and on-field leadership.
Dale Murphy (born March 12, 1956) is an American former professional baseball player. During an 18-year career in Major League Baseball (MLB) (1976–1993), he played as an outfielder, catcher, and the first baseman for the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, and Colorado Rockies; Murphy is best noted for his many years with the Braves. His entire MLB career was spent in the National League (NL), during which time he won consecutive Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards (1982–1983), the Silver Slugger Award for four straight years (1982–1985), and the Gold Glove Award for five straight years (1982–1986).
