June 11th

Dearest Aideen,

That was the nicest thing I have had written about me!

You are a real pal.

I don’t envy anyone being stuck in this way. It makes “bearing up” rather hard. But I suppose I am better & my garden is a dream! I wish you could see it!

I will come over once more as soon as possible but it would be lovely to track you down here!
