TLS, one page, 7.2 x 510.5, personal letterhead, July 12, 1961. Letter to "Lodo," Arthur V. Lodovichetti, the president of the White House News Photographers' Association, in full: "Thank you for telling me about the dreadful accident in which Charles Corte was involved. I shall of course send him a note immediately. Needless to say, Mrs. Eisenhower and I miss all of our friends in the White House News Photographs' Association. It is nice to know and be in touch with you again, despite the tragic news your letter brought." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, which bears a preprinted franking signature.
