Autograph business card, 1.75" x 3.25", originally signed by Robert F. Kennedy in the early 1960s, and later additionally signed by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy III in 1996.
The card is printed for Thomas Craighead of the Executive Department, New York Telephone Company, New York City. Kennedy’s original signature was obtained in person shortly after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, when Robert F. Kennedy visited Brewster, New York, to dedicate a middle school in his brother’s memory.
The subsequent signatures were added more than three decades later at a 1996 event in upstate New York, where Robert F. Kennedy Jr. signed alongside his father’s autograph and then personally located his son, Robert F. Kennedy III, to complete the three-generation Kennedy card.
Accompanied by a detailed signed letter of provenance from Tom Craighead dated May 23, 2003, fully describing the circumstances under which each signature was obtained, along with a period photograph showing the card at the time of the later signings.
A scarce and visually compelling multi-generation Kennedy autograph, combining Robert F. Kennedy’s early-1960s signature with those of his son and grandson, and supported by exceptional first-hand provenance documentation.
