EDISON, THOMAS ALVA. Photograph signed ("Thos A Edison") of Edison on the porch at his Fort Myers, Florida winter estate. Florida, Fort Myers: F.W. Hunt, Photographs [sic] (with his stamp), March 1922; Edison at age 75, according to ink notations on the verso. 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches (11.5 x 16.5 cm).
Together with two photographs of Edison, unsigned, 1930, with the winner of a scholarship (unsigned); a promotional card for phonographs featuring Edison; and an unrelated image of Churchill, Roosevelt, and Stalin taken at the Yalta conference. Small creases to the corner of the first item, but in overall rather good condition, with a strong dark signature; the two small photographs of Edison were torn across and carefully repaired. The image of the Yalta Conference appears to have been taken by someone in attendance and doesn't entirely conform to any other images that we can locate.
