Pierre Bonnard

French painter and lithographer (1867–1947). He trained at the Académie Julien, then joined the group called Les Nabis, which included Denis and Vuillard, with whom he formed the intimist group. ALS in French, signed “Bonnard,” one page, 5.5 x 7, no date. Untranslated letter to a Madame Maillez, boldly signed at the conclusion by Bonnard. In fine condition. Also includes the transmittal envelope dated 1922 inscribed in his hand to a Madame Maillez, 65 rue de chichy Paris. on Back of envelope seems to be a drawing in pencil, which looks to be a floor plan of some nature and is possibly done in his hand.
