Offered is a vintage Official National League baseball bearing the Giles presidency stamp (used 1951–1969), signed by a notable group of Major League Baseball players. The most prominent signature, that of Joe Medwick, appears on the sweet spot. Additional signatures include Joe DiMaggio (signed twice), Bob Feller, Bill Dickey, Solly Hemus, and Jerry Witte. One additional signature is possibly that of Bill Rumler, along with three others yet unidentified.
The signatures are somewhat light, consistent with age and handling. The ball remains in presentable overall condition and is offered unauthenticated. Diameter approximately 2.9 inches.
Provenance: Property from the family of Joe Medwick, legendary St. Louis Cardinals great and Hall of Famer.
