Signed cel of Bugs Bunny by Fritz Freleng. 11.5" x 9" in size and in fine condition. Excerpt from the original owner: "I worked for Pulitzer Prize editorial cartoonist Mike Peters (Dayton Daily News) in 1990-91, as his office manager for his cartoon studio, Siesta Key, Florida. At the time, MGM/UA was managing the licensing of his character "Grimmy" from his other cartoon strip "Mother Goose and Grimm". At that time MGM/UA handled many other licensable cartoon characters. Because of the close relationship with the MGM/UA management (Amy Rosen), I was able to meet numerous other authors/cartoonists, one of them being the Pink Panther creator (and Bugs cartoonist), Fritz Freleng. This was signed by Fritz at a dinner party I attended in New York, NY 1990."
Isadore "Friz" Freleng (August 21, 1905 – May 26, 1995), credited as I. Freleng early in his career, was an American animator, cartoonist, director, producer, and composer known for his work at Warner Bros. Cartoons on the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. In total, he created more than 300 cartoons.
