A Douglas Fairbanks signed check. The check is from the Guaranty Trust Company of New York and is dated April 23rd, 1936. It is for the amount of "four pounds- fourteen shillings and sixpence." Signed on the bottom right hand "Douglas Fairbanks."
An Edward G. Robinson check. Only half the check is visible in the matting, with Edward G. Robinson signing at the bottom in black ink. The check is for $50 and is dated November 1, 1971. Matted along with a photo, that hasn't been opened to confirm if the left of the check is there.
Richard Burton TLS. Dated April 20th 1964 and matted with a photo of him.
Douglas Fairbanks Sr.; May 23, 1883 – December 12, 1939) was an American actor and filmmaker. He was best known for his swashbuckling roles in silent films, including The Thief of Bagdad, Robin Hood, and The Mark of Zorro, but spent the early part of his career making comedies.
Edward G. Robinson (December 12, 1893 – January 26, 1973) was a Romanian-American actor of stage and screen, who was popular during Hollywood's Golden Age. He appeared in 30 Broadway plays and more than 100 films during a 50-year career and is best remembered for his tough-guy roles as gangsters in such films as Little Caesar and Key Largo. During his career, Robinson received the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actor for his performance in House of Strangers.
Richard Burton (10 November 1925 – 5 August 1984) was a Welsh actor. Noted for his mellifluous baritone voice, Burton established himself as a formidable Shakespearean actor in the 1950s and gave a memorable performance as Hamlet in 1964. He is widely regarded as one of the finest actors of his generation.
