2006 USA Basketball Women's World Championship Team Signed Jersey. A great collection of Hall of Famers and future hall of Famers such as Sheryl Swoopes, Tamika Catchings, Katie Smith, Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, Candace Parker, and more! A fine piece to add to any Women's basketball collector. The jersey has been framed to the size 31" x 40" and is in fine condition.
The 2006 FIBA World Championship for Women took place in Brazil from September 12 to September 23, 2006. It was co-organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and Confederação Brasileira de Basketball, the Brazilian national federation. Sixteen national teams competed for the championship. The USA came away with the bronze medal after defeating Brazil 99-59 in the third-place final.
