Luise Rainer ALS

Luise Rainer, Academy Award-winning German-born actress, authentic, autographed vintage three page handwritten letter (ALS), dated June 25, 1943. The letter has been written to noteworthy Academy Award winning American screenwriter Dudley Nichols. Nichols won the 1936 Oscar for Best Screenwriting but refused the award due to the ongoing Screen Writers Guild strike. The letter has been written and signed in fountain pen and is in good condition, aside from some light overall wrinkling. Accompanying the signed letter is the original mailing envelope.
