A Marilyn Monroe-Related First Issue of 'Playboy' Magazine, 1953. The famous 'Volume 1, Number 1' from December 1953 showing MM on the cover as well on pages 17 to 19 -- the issue that catapulted Hef into worldwide fame and notoriety which is still not subsiding, sixty years later. The copy does have a number of issues, including the front cover disconnected and missing the top portion and is disconnected. Some of the pages have corner folds and toning. The back cover is also disconnected. The interior pages are in better condition, off-white to white, and the Marilyn poster is in fine condition. Fair Condition: 11" x 8 1/2"
