Tony Gonzalez (born February 27, 1976) is a former American football tight end who played in the NFL for 17 seasons, primarily with the Kansas City Chiefs. Regarded as one of the greatest tight ends of all-time, he was selected by the Chiefs in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft, where he played for 12 seasons, and was a member of the Atlanta Falcons in his last five seasons. Gonzalez, a 14-time Pro Bowl selection and six-time first-team All-Pro, holds the NFL records for total receiving yards (15,127) and receptions by a tight end (1,325). He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019.
