United States Senate memorandum, one page, 5.25 x 8, dated August 31, 1959, addressed to Mrs. Lincoln — Evelyn Lincoln, John F. Kennedy’s longtime and trusted personal secretary.

The typed memorandum from another Kennedy assistant, Sally Brown, concerns the sending of autographed photographs of Senator Kennedy to several named recipients across the country. At the top of the page, Kennedy adds a handwritten instruction in blue ballpoint to Mrs. Lincoln, "Mrs. Lincoln: Dave... signed “Jack.” The top notation is entirely in Kennedy’s hand.

An exceptional Senate-period working document personally directed to Evelyn Lincoln, reflecting Kennedy’s daily office procedures and his close working relationship with the woman who would later serve as his White House executive secretary
