Jimmie Rodgers signed and dated black and white photograph, 1932. The photograph is inscribed: "To my good friends, Uncle Jimmie and Mrs. Wright, I wish you happiness & health always, Remember me as your friend, Jimmie Rodgers, 12-21-32." Housed together with a 78 RPM Blue Yodel record, Victor 21142-A in a 22" x 29.5" frame. The frame matte is gilt embossed with a title across the top margin reading "Jimmie Rodgers, America's Blue Yodeler" and with a partial lyric along the lower margin. All are housed in a carved wood frame. 

Jimmie Rodgers (September 8, 1897 – May 26, 1933) was an American singer-songwriter and musician who rose to popularity in the late 1920s. Widely regarded as the "Father of Country Music", he is best known for his distinctive yodeling. Rodgers was known as "The Singing Brakeman" and "America's Blue Yodeler". He has been cited as an inspiration by many artists, and he has been inducted into multiple halls of fame.
