Agatha Christie (1890–1976), the best-selling fiction writer of all time and creator of Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, signs a small white card with a warm personal inscription. In blue ink she writes: "To Ione Johansen / with Good wishes / Agatha Christie." The signature is bold and fully formed, a fine example of her later hand.
Christie signed relatively sparingly outside of book inscriptions, and signed cards bearing a personal dedication retain strong collector appeal. The full "Agatha Christie" signature is cleanly executed here, making this an attractive and accessible entry point into one of the most collected names in twentieth-century literary autographs.
Estimate: $600–$900
