Signed letters form Herbert Hoover to Paul C. Smith from the San Fransico Chronicle sending him a draft of the speech that he was going to deliver for Eisenhower who was running for President at the time and the follow up letter about all of the drafts and thanking him for the help. First letter dated letter dated October 16th, 1952 and the second one October 22, 1952 both signed speech by Hoover in fountain pen ink. The letters are tones, otherwise in fine consition.
Herbert Clark Hoover (August 10, 1874 – October 20, 1964) was an American engineer, businessman, and politician who served as the 31st president of the United States from 1929 to 1933.
