Chief of Staff Headquarter's Flag of General Bernard W. Rogers. Red flag with four stars, 3 x 61". General Rogers (1921-2008) graduated from West Point in 1943. He served as chief aide to Gen. Mark C. Clark after World War II, then spend three years as a Rhodes scholar before fighting in Korea and Vietnam, where he won the Distinguished Service Cross. He served as commandant of cadets at West Point, then became commanding general of the Fifth Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colo. In 1974 he earned his fourth star and in 1976, he moved up to Chief of Staff of the United States Army. He was appointed supreme commander of NATO in 1979. From a military exhibit in Branson, Mo
