Apollo 11 crew signed 11'' x 14'' photo. The iconic image of Buzz Aldrin on the moon beside the American flag is signed on its border, ''Buzz Aldrin'', ''M Collins'' and ''Neil Armstrong''. A dedication, likely by Aldrin or Armstrong, reads: ''To John Ryan / with Best Wishes'' and could be to John Dale Ryan, Air Force Chief of Staff at the time of Apollo 11. The caption identifies the photo as ''Tranquility Base - the Lunar Module, the United States flag, and Astronaut Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr.'' Mounted to heavy paper board. Faint toning and edge wear, else near fine.
