A TLS by the famed general that is 10 1/2" x 7" in size and signed "Omar N Bradley". He writes "Mrs. Bradley and I appreciate the invitation to be honored guests at your Dinner-Dance on Sunday evening, 13 October, and regret we are unable to accept as we will be out of the country at that time. We are sorry to have to miss out on what we are sure will be a most memorable evening."
Omar Nelson Bradley was a senior officer of the United States Army during and after World War II, holding the rank of General of the Army. Bradley was the first Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and oversaw the U.S. military's policy-making in the Korean War.
