Dirk from Revolutionary Era

A dirk/dagger from the Revolutionary War period. They were developed for fighting, daggers were designed for thrusting and stabbing. Although "unofficial" weapons in the Revolution, many were carried as personal arms -especially by the frontiersmen and militia who often lacked bayonets for close infighting. Also included is a sheath for the dirk. Both are in fine condition.
