The inaugural edition of the long-running magazine from August 16, 1954. HOF Milwaukee Braves slugger Eddie Mathews is shown on the front cover in live game action, with catcher Wes Westrum of the New York Giants squatting behind, awaiting the pitch. The magazine contains its Topps baseball card foldout featuring players such as Ted Williams, Jackie Robinson, Willie Mays and Duke Snider still completely intact Some light wear along edges but in otherwise fine condition.
