Typed Letter Signed (TLS). On Taft letterhead, New Haven Conn, dated December 14th, 1915. A short, typed note: "My dear Madam: I have your letter of December 8th, and am afraid that it would not be proper for me to write such a letter as that which you ask. Sincerely yours," and it is signed "Wm H Taft". Also included is the envelope, and another Free Franked air mail envelope signed by "Helen H. Taft." 7"w x 9.25"h.
