British actor (1900–1937) who earned a place in film history for his performances as Dr. Henry Frankenstein in Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein. Severe alcoholism hastened his death from tuberculosis at the age of 37. Rare vintage fountain pen signature and inscription "Best Wishes Colin Clive" on 4.25"x 2.75" off-white album page paper, matted with a photo of Clive. Some slight toning but tough signature to get.
