During the mid 1980s, Mickey Mantle's business associates sought to capitalize on the growing demand for Mantle's autograph by forming the Mickey Mantle Collector's Club. Presented here is a membership to the Mickey Mantle Collector's Club comprised of a one-page typed introductory letter (8.5 x 11 inches) signed by Mantle in blue ink (grading "10"), the original mailing envelope, postmarked April 20, 1984, a membership card (4 x 2.25 inches) featuring Mantle's portrait image on the front. The membership card (numbered "106" on the reverse) has not been filled out and is in Mint condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $300. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $411
