This is a phenomenal collection all in one frame. It is comprised of 6 related items:
A Typed souvenir presidential resignation, one page, 5 x 8, on mock White House letterhead, dated August 9, 1974 (but signed later). Nixon’s famous communication to Secretary of State Henry Kissinger: “Dear Mr. Secretary: I hereby resign the Office of President of the United States.” Signed at the conclusion in black ink by Nixon. In fine condition.
A Souvenir typescript of Ford’s presidential pardon granted to Richard Nixon, one page, 8.5 x 11. In part: “I, Gerald R. Ford, President of the United States…do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto Richard Nixon for all offenses against the United States which he…may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 20, 1969 through August 9, 1974.” Signed at the conclusion in blue felt tip, “Gerald Ford.”
Wayne Howell, Richard Nixon "Puppeteers" Signed and Numbered Limited Edition Clowns Fine Art Lithograph. I am unsure of the title of this print, as my search has not located any copies of this piece. Numbered 24/250, and features Richard Nixon, Spiro Agnew, Howdy Doody, Pinnochio, Charley McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd among others. Black and white sketched print is on heavy ivory-colored art stock paper. Print image is approximately 24" x 13", plus the signature line. Howell is known for his illustrations featuring clowns and produced a series of satirical fine art images featuring Nixon in 1973.
Also, includes 3 FDC’s, one signed by Nixon, Henry Kissinger and one by Gerald Ford. The total size of the frame dimensions is approx. 32”x36”. With LOA by One Of A Kind Collectibles.
