Apollo 12 Large NASA Photo Signed by Conrad, Gordon, Bean and Supporting Cast, with Zarelli L.O.A . Signed NASA lunar photo taken during the Apollo 12 mission, featuring Alan Bean carrying the ALSEP package on the lunar surface. Boldly signed by all three Apollo 12 astronauts along the mat, including Charles Conrad as "Charles Conrad", Richard Gordon as "Dick", and Alan Bean as "Alan L. Bean", in addition to the signatures of the supporting cast from the event. Photo size 13.5" x 10.75" and mat size 20" x 16". Accompanied with an LOA from Steve Zarelli of Zarelli Space Authentication, LLC. Fine condition. From the collection of Elton Stepherson, one of the earliest African-American employees of NASA. Just a few months after the Apollo 11 mission allowed the first men to walk on the moon, Apollo 12 followed with another successful mission, and a very similar splashdown in the Pacific Ocean on November 24, 1969. Apollo 12 launched on November 14 from Cape Kennedy and the mission's command and service module, the "Yankee Clipper", entered lunar orbit on November 17. Two days later, lunar module Intrepid touched down in the Ocean of Storms near where the Surveyor 3 probe landed in 1967.Commander Charles "Pete" Conrad and lunar module pilot Alan Bean traveled to the surface, while command module pilot Richard Gordon stayed in lunar orbit. The astronauts completed two moonwalks, where they collected rocks and took measurements, and visited Surveyor 3 to remove parts for analysis.With One Of A Kind Collectibles COA.
