Partly-printed vellum DS as president, signed “Ja's Monroe,” one page, 14.75 x 12, November 8, 1800. As governor of Virginia, Monroe grants a "certain Tract or Parcel of Land, containing twenty acres." Neatly signed with dark signature at the conclusion by Governor Monroe. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact.
