Khalil Gibran Signed Unpublished Quotation! in Autograph Album with Many Other Famous Luminaries

 "And let us sing altogether Khalil Gibran 1929"

This is a very unusual signed autograph album. The collector started collecting Luminairies in the early 1900's all the way through the 1920's and 30's.

The star of the collection is a very rare handwritten quotation by Khalil Gibran the Lebanese-American artist and writer (1883-1931) best known for his writings on religion and for his best-selling 1923 spiritual-philosophical classic The Prophet.

The quoation in full is "And let us sing altogether Khalil Gibran 1929" We can find no record of this qoation from Gibran and it could be unpublished.

One of his most famous quoations is from the prohet and about Marriage. in the poem which might be the most widely read poem in history at weddings , there is a line that goes "Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of your be alone".

There are other signature like Edwin Markham an American poet, who wrote "We sell our eyes for candles Edwin Markum". From 1923 to 1931 he was Poet Laureate of Oregon.

There is also Benjamin Henry Jesse Francis Shepard (September 18, 1848 – May 29, 1927) was a composer, pianist, and writer who used the pen name of Francis Grierson.
