Abraham Lincoln Commission Document Signed as President. Partially printed document signed. 19" x 15 1/4"(sight), fold marks and framed under glass, with embossed seal, affixed upper left. Signed by Lincoln on Sept 19th, 1861. Commission of David Houston to First Lieutenant in the Corp of Engineers. Signed by Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) as President (1861-1865), and Simon Cameron (1799-1889), as Secretary of War. Matted and framed, 19 3/4" x 16".Some of ink has faded a few shades, Lincoln signature in fine condition clearly seen.
