Matthew Thornton (March 17, 1713 – June 24, 1803) was an Irish-born signer of the United States Declaration of Independence as a representative of New Hampshire.He was first President of the New Hampshire House of Representatives and Associate Justice of the Superior Court of New Hampshire.
